The event, which marks AFAA’s 5th anniversary, will take place on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel.
This year’s milestone celebration is expected to draw policymakers, global fashion leaders, art collectors, cultural diplomats, creative entrepreneurs, and entertainment figures to the nation’s capital for a night of cultural prestige and high-level networking. “AFAA 2025 is not just an award ceremony; it is a global stage celebrating Africa’s creative power and uniting innovators who are shaping the continent’s future,” the organiser Mr. Kingsley Amako said during a pre-event visit to the Mr. Ahmed Bashir Sodangi the Director General of the National Gallery of Art, an Agency of the Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy.
