Johnnie Walker Presents AfroExchange Lagos in Creative Partnership with Element House

The world’s premium spirit brand, Johnnie Walker, is set to expand its pan-African cultural movement, AfroExchange, to Nigeria. Launched in June 2025, AfroExchange is a platform that celebrates creativity and cultural exchange through music, fashion, and art. The Lagos edition, a key cultural moment of the season, is launching today in partnership with Element House, marking an important milestone for the city’s creative landscape.

The Lagos activation will be taking place today, Saturday, 22 November, at the Element House festival on Orange Island. The event, themed ‘A Decade of Dance’, will feature high-energy performances, bold visual elements, and collaborative showcases inspired by the sound and flavour of Nigeria and South Africa.

True to the Johnnie Walker philosophy, the event promises a sensory explosion of big flavour and big beats, creating an atmosphere where liquid innovation meets sonic excellence. The night will be soundtracked by a stellar lineup of international and home-grown talent, headlined by the hypnotic Afro-house rhythms of South African duo Lemon & Herb. Joining them to keep the energy peaking are Robin M, Fiona Kraft, and Demaya, each bringing their distinct global house sounds to the festival stage. Anchoring the night in the city’s unique pulse, the Naija House Mafia will deliver a high-octane set that celebrates the vibrant intersection of Nigerian energy and electronic music culture.

According to Johnnie Walker, AfroExchange reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to elevating African creativity. The platform brings Lagos and Johannesburg into one cultural space, enabling creators to push boundaries, collaborate, and shape new creative expressions that reflect the confidence and innovation driving modern African culture.

This year, Johnnie Walker – through AfroExchange – has connected the creative worlds of Lagos and Johannesburg by encouraging artistic collaboration across music, fashion, and visual expression. The platform brings together Nigerian and South African creators to experiment, perform, and share ideas in an environment designed to support cultural innovation. This reflects Johnnie Walker’s commitment to championing the talent shaping Africa’s creative future.

As AfroExchange continues to build momentum across the continent, the Lagos edition strengthens its evolution into a travelling cultural platform that elevates talent, encourages collaboration, and showcases the diversity of African creativity.
