Ex-Minister Quits PDP in Kwara

A former Minister of Transportation,  Hon.  Isa Bio Ibrahim, has resigned his membership of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Kwara State with immediate effect.

Ibrahim’s  resignation from the PDP, THISDAY gathered, might not be unconnected to the current crisis rocking the leadership at the national headquarters of the party.

Ibrahim , a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly and former member of House of Representatives for Baruten/Kaima federal constituency, in a letter addressed to the chairman, Gure/Gwassero  ward of  PDP  in Baruten local government area of the state, dated 18th November, 2025 stated that, “Kindly accept my letter of resignation from Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) effective from today(18th November, 2025).

The letter which was copied to the chairman, PDP, Baruten Local Government Area and  the state chairman of the PDP, stated further that, “This is based on personal grounds and in the interest of my constituents.

While thanking the party and the leadership for the opportunities given to him to serve our state and the country, Ibrahim wished the party greater fortunes in future.
