Guinness World Record Holder Ayelabola Ololade Nominated for AFAA, Regal Awards Nigeria, Others

A model and Computer Science graduate at the University of Lagos, Ayelabola Ololade has been nominated for three vital awards, further solidifying her in a progressive career path and as an authority in model and fashion industry.

Ololade, who had earlier in the year bagged Guinness World Record achievement, after walking an astonishing 125.11Km on a catwalk, setting a new world record for the longest distance walked on a runway by a model has just received nominations for African Fashion & Arts Awards and Regal Awards Nigeria 2025.

Earlier, she was nominated by Thread of Legacy for the future awards Africa prize for young person of the year, which took place Nov. 8.

AFAA award seeks to recognize the contributions of young people in promoting music, film, fashion, and art, which have become major driver of economic growth in Nigeria and around the world.

AFAA is of strong belief that the commitment of young Africans has helped in attracting foreign investments and boost tourism, further boosting economic growth on the continent.

“With their creative talents and entrepreneurial spirit, they have helped to promote African culture and diversity, creating employment opportunities and generating revenue for the continent”, the organizers said.

Similarly, Ololade’s nomination at Regal Awards highlights the significance of her impact and achievements not only in the model industry but in positively influencing her community.

It serves as a platform to celebrate beauty, talent, and achievements of Nigerian women, aimed at empowering, inspiring and influencing.

While AFAA award holds 5th December, 2025 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, Regal Awards Nigeria holds at Sandralia Hotel, Jabi Abuja on November, 28, 2025.
