CEO of Dee Utensils, Lois Ihwo Bags Honorary Doctorate Degree, Most Inspiring Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

It was double honour for the Chief Executive Officer of Dee Utensils, Lois Andrew Ihwo as she was conferred with Honorary Doctorate Degree by American Management University California USA as well as prestigious award of Most Inspiring Entrepreneur of the Year, a recognition accorded her at the just concluded 15th Peace Achievers Award 2025.

The Honorary Degree by the American University was part of the partnership deal with the Peace Ambassadors Agency, organizers of the Peace Achievers Award.

This comes just few months after she was honoured as Abuja Female Entrepreneur of the Year, an award conferred on her by Top 10 Magazine.

Earlier, she was decorated with the honour of Excellence in Affordable Luxury Kitchen Solution at the Africa–UK Trade & Investment Conference & Awards 2025, held at the illustrious Royal National Hotel, London, alongside Africa’s finest business icons.

The latest from Peace Ambassadors Agency comes in recognition of her efforts in standing as a beacon of inspiration to other young women in Africa aspiring for greater heights.

Dee Utensils has equally partnered with international companies producing kitchenware to get unique and luxurious designs for its customers across the world.

She is believed to have humongous influence as her Dee Utensils is one of Africa’s most impactful institutions in Nigeria and Africa.

She is also involved in every aspect of the business, from product design to marketing and customer service.

With the theme, Peace Building Through Sectoral Partnerships: Public and Private Sector Collaboration, the Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards took place November 8, 2025 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.

The Project Director of Peace Ambassadors Agency, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe said this event which coincided with the 15th anniversary of the Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards presented an opportunity to celebrate a decade and half of promoting peace, advocacy for change in Nigeria and consistent support for national unity.

Other personalities honoured include, Principal partner, Bosslady Law Chamber, Barr. Orbby Agwuncha, CEO, One Percent International, Ambassador Stephanie Nnadi, Dune Group CEO, Rivervalley Group of Companies Republic of Zimbabwe, Her Excellency, Amb. Prof. Smelly Dube and others.
