FiberOne Commences Next-Gen Network Upgrade Across Lagos to Deliver Smarter, Faster Broadband

FiberOne Broadband, Nigeria’s leading fiber-to-the-home internet service provider, has begun a major network transformation across key Lagos neighborhoods part of its strategic move to deliver next-generation connectivity that is faster, smarter, and more reliable.
The ongoing upgrade, which kicked off in Anthony Village and Maryland will extend to Lekki, Victoria Island, Ikoyi and Oniru in the coming weeks. The other areas of Lagos will also be captured in the coming months
This infrastructure enhancement centers on the deployment of an advanced plug-and-play last mile fiber system that significantly reduces installation time, improves connection quality, and enhances operational efficiency.
According to Adetola Akinmade, Chief Technology Officer at FiberOne Broadband, “This migration to the pre-connectorized infrastructure is a pivotal step in our modernization journey. It’s designed to deliver cleaner builds, faster activations, and more stable broadband performance for our customers. We are reimagining the entire customer experience from installation to daily usage.”
