Oramah to Deliver Keynote Speech at NBCC’s Presidential Inauguration Dinner

The immediate past President of African Export and Import Bank, Professor Benedict Okey Oramah, will be the guest speaker at the19th Presidential Inauguration Dinner of the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC).
The dinner is in honour of the President/Chairman of Council, NBCC, Mr. Abimbola Olashore.
The theme of the presidential dinner, which is scheduled to hold on November 24, 2025, is “Unlocking Africa’s Future: Trade as the Engine of Economic Competitiveness.”
The Chairman of the Presidential Inauguration Dinner Committee, NBCC, Mr. Tajudeen Ahmad, said that the former Minister of Housing, Works and Power, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, would be the Chairman of the Day for the presidential dinner.
Ahmad, who is also the elected vice president of NBCC, said that the dinner would feature a thematic discussion on what is essential for the economy of Nigeria.
He said that the event would be attended by leaders of business and government and reflect the tradition of the NBCC and the gravitas of the Olashore, who has different tentacles in different sectors of the Nigerian economy.
“We are also going to induct patrons, which include the immediate past President of NBCC, Mr. Ray Atelly and the President of Coscharis Group, Mr. Cosmas Maduka,” he said.
Speaking during the press briefing, the Acting Director General of NBCC, Ms. Adaobi Onyedum, said that the 19th edition of the chamber’s Presidential Inauguration Dinner would serve as an elegant social and networking platform that would offer guests the opportunity to engage, exchange ideas, and build lasting business relationships.
Members of the organising committee that also participated in the press conference were the Chairman, Financial Services Committee, NBCC, Mr. Segun Akintemi; Mrs. Adeola Azeez, Vice Chairman, Presidential Inauguration Dinner & Chairman MSME/ Women & Youth Entrepreneurship Programme, NBCC, Mrs. Adeola Azeez and Chairman Communications and Media Committee, NBCC, Mrs. Maureen Ngwu.
