The management of Osiomo Power yesterday alerted members of the public about a breach of court order by the technical partner CCETC who it alleged went to its power plants in violation of court order.

Following the dispute between Ossiomo and CCETC over ownership of the private electricity company in Edo State, a High Court on September 11, restrained CCETC from using the 33KV line and the gas infrastructure owned by the company.

But in a press statement signed by the Deputy General Manager of Ossiomo Power, Engr. Francis Ekwe, which was made available to journalists in Benin City, alleged that CCETC, on October 5, 2025, illegally entered their gas plant, opened the valve, switched on their engines, and began to supply power on the 33KV line and the gas infrastructure owned by Ossiomo company in Ologbo community, where the power plants are located.

The statement which noted that the company would continue to pursue all lawful measures to safeguard its operations while maintaining open communication and mutual respect with all stakeholders, added that it will remain law abiding and consistent of any antithetical or breach of court order.

The statement further urged members of the public to take note of the illegal entrance by CCETC but appealed for calm, pointing out that Ossiomo would continue to provide its best services to the people.

It therefore urged CCETC to vacate the site and cease all unauthorised operations while seeking alternative location to set up within Ologbo community to operate.

The management of Osiomo assured its customers on the 33kv line that all efforts and resources are being put in place to resume their 24/7 power supply within the shortest possible time.
