Unveiling our vision for Nigeria’s E-Commerce and Digital asset market – Liberty Okordo
In an age of innovation and economic evolution, one Nigerian startup is transforming how people buy, sell, and trade—both physically and digitally. Founded in 2023 by Liberty Okordo, Zinkite Group (registered as Zinkite Limited) is rapidly becoming a household name in Delta State and beyond, thanks to its twin offerings: Zinkite Declutter and Zinkite Exchange.
From a Missed Sale to a Market Solution
Zinkite’s origin story is as relatable as it is inspiring. After relocating to a new area, Okordo attempted to sell some high-quality furniture that no longer fit his new space. Despite the items being in excellent condition, the lack of local buyers forced him to give them away.
“That experience made me realize that selling fairly used items isn’t easy in Warri,” said Okordo. “So, I decided to build something that could bridge that gap.”
That “something” became Zinkite Declutter, a service designed to simplify the resale of neatly used household items. The platform buys items directly from sellers—offering instant payment and doorstep pickup—before reselling to budget-conscious buyers seeking quality goods at affordable prices.
Entering the Digital Frontier
Building on the success of Zinkite Declutter, Okordo expanded into another high-demand space: cryptocurrency trading. Having traded crypto under the name Libatrade Services since 2022, he rebranded that operation into Zinkite Exchange to align with his growing brand.
With this addition, Zinkite evolved from a single-service platform into a multi-faceted brand now known as Zinkite Group—a rising startup meeting the practical needs of everyday Nigerians through trusted, streamlined services.
Empowering Through Opportunity
Beyond buying and selling, Zinkite is also building a community of earners. Through the ZKD Affiliates Program, individuals—particularly students and low-income earners—can earn money simply by reposting Zinkite’s product listings. It’s an inclusive initiative aimed at financial empowerment through digital entrepreneurship.
“We want people to know they can earn without owning inventory or investing capital,” said Okordo. “It’s all about creating new streams of income with minimal barriers.”
A Background Rooted in Grit and Growth
Liberty Okordo, born and raised in Sapele LGA, Delta State, completed his WAEC in 2016 before studying Information Technology at the Youth Center in Sapele. Though he’s yet to receive formal awards, his growing track record and good reputation continue to speak volumes.
Zinkite is not only helping locals declutter and trade crypto confidently; it’s redefining what it means to be a modern Nigerian entrepreneur.
Looking Ahead: A Unified App for All Services
Staying true to the original dream of creating an inclusive digital marketplace, Zinkite Group is currently developing a comprehensive mobile app. The upcoming platform will consolidate trading, decluttering, and e-commerce into a single user-friendly solution—allowing users to buy, sell, and trade both new and fairly used goods, as well as crypto, all in one place.
Community Engagement and Future Plans
Zinkite Group also participated in Fitness Fusion Fiesta 2024, showcasing its commitment not only to commerce but also to community well-being and visibility. The company is focused on continued growth, expansion, and social impact.
