GYMHA Australia Partners with NBR to Host the 6th SMRS25 Global Summit

Global Youth Mental Health Awareness (GYMHA) Incorporated, Australia in partnership with the Nigerian Books of Record (NBR), has announced the hosting of the 6th edition of the Global Stress Management Revolutions Summit & Awards 2025 (SMRS25), a groundbreaking virtual event scheduled to hold on October 24–25, 2025.

Widely recognized as a premier global platform for advancing mental well-being and professional growth, the SMRS25 Global Summit will feature more than 50 distinguished experts, policymakers, and mental health professionals from around the world. The summit aims to explore innovative strategies for enhancing emotional stability, workplace balance, and personal resilience in an era increasingly defined by pressure and uncertainty.

This year’s edition is themed “Social Innovators,” reflecting the shared vision of both organizations to inspire global action through creativity, empathy, and social responsibility.

Speaking during an online press briefing announcing the summit, Apostle Prof. Dr (h.c) Jude O. Ediae, Founder and CEO of GYMHA, emphasized the importance of global collaboration in redefining leadership and innovation in mental health.

“At a time when the world is fractured by pressure, anxiety, and uncertainty, we must build bridges of understanding and resilience,” Prof. Jude stated. “The SMRS25 Summit is not just another conference, it is a global movement to empower individuals to master stress, unlock creativity, and live with purpose. The future belongs to those who can think clearly under pressure.”

He noted that the partnership between GYMHA and NBR reflects a long-standing vision to create platforms where knowledge meets compassion, and where young innovators are supported to tackle mental health challenges with fresh and practical ideas.

“Stress is the silent pandemic of our time,” he added. “Through this summit, we aim to provide a sanctuary of knowledge and healing, where professionals, youth, and communities can learn tools to manage stress, nurture emotional intelligence, and achieve holistic well-being.”

On his part, Professor David O. David, Director-General of NBR and Chairperson of the SMRS25 Global Summit, described this year’s edition as “a beacon of hope in a restless world.”

“NBR believes in the power of recognition because, a record forgotten is a history lost,” Prof. David said. “By celebrating global changemakers and mental health champions, we are not only documenting their impact but also inspiring a new generation to rise above limitations.”

He further revealed that one of the summit’s key highlights will be the 2025 World Rekordbreakers Awards Ceremony, which will celebrate extraordinary visionaries, record breakers, and innovators whose contributions continue to shape and inspire humanity across continents.

“In the eyes of the world, legends will rise and Rekordbreakers will be crowned,” he added. “We are writing a new chapter of global unity through recognition, wellness, and innovation.”

The two-day virtual summit, to be hosted via Zoom, promises an engaging lineup of interactive workshops, cultural showcases, live performances, and over 100 on-demand webinars, along with six hours of live Q&A sessions featuring leaders from the fields of health, education, and innovation.

In addition, the event will feature a Business Pitch Competition, offering a $500 sponsorship prize for the most innovative mental health initiative or startup idea.

Attendance is free, and registration is open to individuals and organizations worldwide, including students, educators, healthcare practitioners, youth workers, community leaders, and entrepreneurs passionate about mental wellness and social change.
