ADEOLUWA BOLUWAJAIYE IGNITES A SCRIPTURE-SINGING REVIVAL WITH HIS DEBUT EP, THE WORD

Nigerian-born gospel minister and worship leader Adeoluwa Boluwajaiye, popularly known as Min. Adeoluwa, is redefining gospel music with the release of his debut EP, THE WORD, a project that blends Scripture, spirit, and sound into one powerful worship experience. The EP dropped on October 9, 2025, the same day the artiste marked his birthday.

With five Scripture-rich tracks, THE WORD ushers in a fresh wave of gospel expression rooted in the timeless power of the Bible. Over 99% of the lyrics are drawn directly from Scripture, making the project a “ministry in melody” that invites listeners to encounter God’s Word through song.

“Growing up, we were made to recite Bible verses and chapters, and that helped us grow. But in this age, media has become a huge distraction. So I thought — what if we put those same Scriptures word for word in song, and have people listen to them until they search them out again? That’s how this Scripture-singing journey began,” Adeoluwa explained.

Each song on the EP is anchored in biblical passages —l Mary’s Praise (Luke 1:46–49), Believers Creed (1 Peter 2:9), The Word (Psalm 119:105), Agbára Jesu Wá Sibè (Hebrews 13:8 and Philippians 2:10–11), and The Names of God. Together, they deliver a worship experience that is both meditative and revelatory, reminding believers that the Bible is alive and relevant.

Production credits include Paul Ojoade (Colonel_Tyemmy), Ajibade Isaiah (Ikeyz), and JOERYOS (Joshua Boluwajaiye), whose combined efforts shaped the EP’s unique Afro-gospel sound. The songs were recorded at Ray Sessions Studio, UK, with mixing and mastering by Colonel_Tyemmy.

A standout feature on the project is Agbára Jesu Wá Sibè, which showcases a rare father-son collaboration between Min. Adeoluwa and his father, Pastor Samson Boluwajaiye, a respected choir leader and minister. The song reflects a generational bridge of faith and worship — a moment Adeoluwa describes as “a reminder that ministry is legacy.”

Having recently bagged the GX Awards 2025 Best Praise & Worship Leader, Adeoluwa’s music continues to resonate across Nigeria and the UK, inspiring a new generation of believers to internalize Scripture through melody.

“The goal is simple,” he said. “Let people carry the Word in their hearts. This is not just music; this is The Word, sung and declared.”

Min. Adeoluwa has also hinted that his first full-length project, THE WORD – ALBUM, will be released on October 9, 2026, expanding the Scripture-singing movement with more Bible-inspired tracks.
