Peace Ambassadors Advocacy Network Successfully Inaugurates New Ambassadors in Historic National Event
The Peace Ambassadors Advocacy Network (PAAN) has successfully hosted the Inauguration of Peace Ambassadors of Nigeria, a landmark event that brought together leaders, diplomats, traditional rulers, youth advocates, civil society organizations, and government representatives to advance the cause of peace, unity, and national development.
The inauguration, themed “Nigeria First: Grassroots Solutions for National Growth,” was held in Abuja, with distinguished guests in attendance, including [insert notable dignitaries – e.g., representatives from government ministries, First Ladies, traditional leaders, and international partners].
The event marked the official induction of hundreds of newly appointed Peace Ambassadors from across Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT, recognizing them as champions of peace, unity, and positive change in their communities.
In his keynote address, Ambassador Kingsley Onuche, President and Founder of PAAN, emphasized the urgent need for collective responsibility in building a peaceful Nigeria.
“Peace is the foundation of national development. Our Ambassadors are not just symbols, but actors who will drive grassroots solutions, amplify voices for justice, and contribute to the vision of a united, prosperous Nigeria,” he stated.

The Peace Ambassadors of Nigeria initiative aims to create a nationwide network of peacebuilders dedicated to conflict prevention, advocacy against violence, and promotion of sustainable development, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
With this inauguration, PAAN reaffirms its commitment to continue working with local, national, and international partners to advance the culture of peace, human rights, and inclusive growth.
