MTN Partners Group to Promote Nigerian-made Products

As part of its corporate social responsibility, MTN Nigeria has partnered a group, Make In Nigeria, for an exhibition, conference aimed at showcasing locally made products and services in Port Harcourt.
The event titled, “The Fussion- A Tech and Agro Expo”, brought together vendors from all over the country showcasing their locally made products and speakers from Nigeria and abroad.
Speaking on the sideline of the exhibitions, Edidiong Umoh, Enterprise Business Channel Analyst, Eastern Region of MTN, said the firm is partnering with organisers of the event because it aligns with their core value which is to give local vendors visibility.
He said the conference also affords the firm and opportunity to showcase its products and services.
Umoh assured businesses especially startups that MTN has solutions to their business challenges especially in terms of technology and support.
”At MTN Nigeria, one of our core values is to align with indigenous vendors and indigenous events. We like partnering with people making it in Nigeria and all sorts of start-ups, so when we saw the Make In Nigeria Exhibition and Conference, we saw it as an avenue to partner local vendors and show them our products and also show support to young entrepreneurs in Nigeria”, he said.
