History was made on Saturday, September 20, 2025, as the bustling Isheri Olofin Roundabout played host to the first-ever Fitness Fiesta in Alimosho, tagged Alimosho Fitness to Fortune.
The event, powered by Upwey Global Investment Limited, recorded an impressive turnout of over one hundred participants, cutting across realtors, business owners, career professionals, civil servants, and vibrant youths within the community.
A major highlight of the fiesta was the free medical check-ups conducted in partnership with the Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Health Centre. Residents benefited from blood pressure, blood sugar, and other health screenings. Importantly, free medications were also provided to those who required them after the tests — ensuring that participants not only knew their health status but also received immediate care.
Beyond the workout crowd, the fiesta also attracted elderly residents from the community who came out specifically for the medical exercise. Many of them expressed joy and gratitude for the opportunity to access free health checks an medications at their doorstep, describing it as a relief and a blessing.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Austine Oladejo, CEO of Upwey Global Investment Limited, expressed deep appreciation to the Executive Chairman of Egbe-Idimu LCDA, Prince Idris Balogun for the council’s support. He noted that the initiative reflects Upwey’s broader mission beyond real estate:
“At Upwey Global, we are not just selling properties; we are in the business of empowering people, creating wealth, and transforming lives. We believe that health is the foundation of wealth. That is why we created this platform — *to help our people stay fit, build valuable connections, and open doors to wealth creation opportunities.”
For many participants, the event was both impactful and refreshing. Mrs. Abigail Aina, a 68-year-old resident of Isheri Olofin, shared her excitement:
“This is the first time in a long while that I’m checking my blood pressure and sugar level, and I didn’t pay anything. They even gave me drugs. I feel happy and cared for. God bless Upwey and the health workers.”
On the other hand, Mr. Tunde Ojo, a young realtor who joined the fitness session, praised the blend of wellness and networking:
“The workout was fun, but beyond that, I met people I can do business with. It’s not every day you find an event where you can exercise, check your health, and also connect with clients and partners. This is brilliant.”
The fiesta featured aerobics, dance fitness, wellness talks, wealth talk and networking sessions, creating a vibrant atmosphere where health and prosperity intersected.
With the overwhelming success of this maiden edition, the Alimosho Fitness to Fortune Fiesta is already being seen as a model for grassroots development in Lagos — showing how government, private sector, and the community can unite to promote both wellness and wealth creation.
