DSS vs Sowore: A Storm in a Teacup

You know when people do not have a problem, they start looking for funny ways to keep busy. This is exactly how I see this matter. So the man with his “ajasco” hairstyle labels our President a “criminal”, and it is our own CIA equivalent that is taking him to court?

Last week on ARISE NEWS Channel, where I was a very important guest, that was how one Akwa Ibom lawyer in a blue suit and looking like a cabaret dancer in Las Vegas, in between bouts of pouring me spit, screamed at me– Sowore has the right to call him a criminal. Did he complain? Did Tinubu complain? Edgar o, did Tinubu complain? Why is DSS crying more than the bereaved?

As he screamed and poured spit, I was sha thanking God that Covid had gone because this boy for just finish me with Covid over matter wey no concern me.

Sadly, immediately after the programme, we came out to hear that DSS has reportedly filed criminal charges against Sowore on the matter, and, wait for it, Sowore has retaliated by filing his own.

If I talk now, Baba Afe will pursue me again, because the charges, or should I say statement that followed DSS charges was plenty like the letter Baba wrote to Ekiti police to say I defamed him. When I saw the plenty letter, I was weak o. Baba should have just said everything in one sentence – Edgar, you yab me? Are you mad? And I would have responded, “Ema bi nu daddy.”

The charges on Sowore for calling Tinubu a criminal were plenty like that one I just mentioned. Why is DSS everywhere? I even hear that they mediated between Dangote and NUPENG – na wa o. This one that I am trying to look for their trouble, when it comes, I know I don’t have the power to stand o, but the devil is just pushing me on their

matter. Kai, God help me o.

For Sowore, I have said my mind very clearly on his case. It’s a battle for relevance as the career is gradually ending. Human rights career of his nature has dried up. The work has finished as all those blocking roads, carrying placards and standing on the main road are no longer working. VDM and the hordes of N100 data warriors have carried the fight digitally, so if it is to call Tinubu a criminal that will keep them in pole position, then Tinubu had better be ready for more name-calling. If this “criminal” they are calling him no work, he would soon be called “elewon”, “amu igbo”, and so many other names to achieve the purpose.

My point – this is a clear waste of time by all those involved, and they should stop distracting us, period.
