TMUFS Summer Edition Celebrates Founders, Creativity, Power of Community

The 17th Lagos Makeup Fair (LMUF17) – Summer Edition, part of the long-running Makeup Fair Series (TMUFS), held on 23rd – 24th, August 2025 at Classique Events Place, Oregun, Ikeja was a spectacular celebration of beauty, innovation and shopping.

In a statement, it was revealed that now in its 131st edition since inception in 2012, the fair once again drew over 2,800 beauty lovers, professionals and shoppers who enjoyed exclusive deals, live demonstrations and non-stop product showcases from 60+ exhibitors.

The statement noted that one of the defining highlights of this summer edition was the wave of product launches by 14 beauty brands. Among them were Nuban Cares, Rubellite Cosmetics, DebbyLuster, Lutza, Didi Beauty, Juba Cosmetics, Deegutu and others, each unveiling exciting new products that thrilled attendees.

The statement further explained that Nuban Cares also stole the spotlight with the introduction of its groundbreaking Skincare Decoder, an AI-powered skin analysis tool that reflects the growing synergy between beauty and technology in Nigeria.

It remarked that the fair also hosted the much-anticipated Beauty Face-Off Competition, where makeup artists and models showcased summer-inspired artistry in a contest that drew loud cheers and enthusiastic engagement from attendees.

It averred that from live demos to brand showcases and back-to-back product activations, the energy in the hall was electric and unforgettable.

Founder of TMUFS, Omolola Faleye, described LMUF17 as one of the most impactful editions yet: “This Summer Edition was truly special not only was it our 131st edition, but it brought together new product innovations, creativity and the unmatched energy of our beauty community. We are grateful to our exhibitors and shoppers who made it such a success. To God be the glory.”

It opined that since its launch, TMUFS has hosted over 130 editions across 14 Nigerian cities, connecting attendees to local and international beauty brands, providing visibility for businesses and creating a platform that inspires growth and discovery in the beauty sector.

It added that the journey continues next month as TMUFS hosts its 133rd and 134th editions in Port harcourt and Owerri, which promises to be another vibrant gathering of beauty lovers, brands and industry professionals further cementing TMUFS’ place as the leading beauty trade platform in Nigeria.
