Pelbliss Unveils Nigeria’s First WedTech Platform

Pelbliss, Nigeria’s first full-service wedding technology (WedTech) platform, has officially launched, promising to transform the country’s wedding and events industry. The unveiling took place on September 18, after months of anticipation and vendor onboarding.

The platform was created to address long-standing challenges in the sector, particularly disorganization and limited accessibility. Couples often struggle to find reliable vendors, while many talented vendors lack visibility and credibility. Pelbliss seeks to bridge this gap through a digital ecosystem that connects couples to verified professionals across multiple categories — including makeup artists, photographers, caterers, decorators, bakers, entertainers, and MCs.

Founder Ogaga Edafe disclosed that operations will begin in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. He explained that Pelbliss offers vendors more than just exposure, as they will have access to personalized profiles, analytics, digital portfolios, reviews, and promotional tools designed to boost bookings and build trust.

For couples, the platform introduces “The Pelbliss Experience,” which promises a stress-free planning journey. Beyond booking vendors, users can also create wedding websites, manage guest lists, track checklists, and send digital invitations.

Edafe, while speaking on the launch, noted that Pelbliss was designed with a long-term vision of reshaping weddings in Nigeria. “This is the beginning of a movement to simplify weddings, empower vendors, and give couples peace of mind on their big day,” he said.

Industry watchers believe the platform could set a new standard for the wedding sector by merging innovation with tradition.
