Realtor Drives Strategic Land Ownership Through CitiTap
By Ugo Aliogo
Entrepreneur and real estate consultant Usunobun Ernest is helping Nigerians at home and abroad convert land ownership into long-term financial assets.
Through his company, CitiTap Nig Ltd, he has developed systems that simplify land acquisition, estate development, and property investment, making them both accessible and strategic.
His aim goes beyond selling land. He is focused on guiding people to secure the right property, in the right location, backed by proper documentation and a clear long-term vision.
“Wealth in real estate is never just about buying land. It is about positioning,” he said. “You must understand where development is heading, what infrastructure is planned, and how to secure your asset with clear title and physical allocation.”
Over the past year, Usunobun has advised investors, especially working-class Nigerians and diaspora clients, who are interested in future-focused estates across emerging corridors like Epe, Ibeju-Lekki, and parts of Ogun State.
He emphasises due diligence, strategic planning, and long-term thinking as keys to converting land into real
wealth.
“The mistake many people make is buying out of fear or peer pressure. My job is to help them invest with logic, not emotion. If you cannot defend your land legally, you do not own anything,” he explained.
Usunobun is also a vocal advocate for investor education. Through online webinars, physical
inspections, and one-on-one consultations, he guides clients through the full process of buying, verifying, and planning property use. In a market often riddled with land scams and title fraud, his approach is refreshing and deeply needed.
In recent months, CitiTap Nig Ltd has rolled out structured investment plans that help young professionals pay for land in phases, while also educating them on how to develop or hold for appreciation. For those not ready to build immediately, land banking is a core part of the strategy he recommends.
“Land is one of the few assets that does not lose value when purchased correctly,” he said. “Even if you do not build today, the land itself is working for you by appreciating. That is
passive wealth creation.”
Usunobun’s influence continues to grow across property circles in Lagos and beyond. He has become a trusted advisor for middle-class families, diaspora investors, and first-time buyers seeking safe, profitable ways to enter the real estate space.
With a reputation for integrity and results, Usunobun Ernest is doing more than selling land. He is helping Nigerians build generational wealth with confidence, clarity, and the right information.
