Stanley Nwabunwanne Ugwubujoh Honoured with Crest Africa West Africa Innovation Award 2025 for Data and Technology Impact

Stanley Nwabunwanne Ugwubujoh, a Nigerian Data Analytics Manager and technology education advocate, has been recognised with the Crest Africa West Africa Innovation Award 2025 for his contributions to data analytics, innovation, and technology development across Nigeria.

The award was presented to him in recognition of his consistent application of data analytics to solve real world challenges across agriculture and financial systems, delivering measurable improvements in forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and decision making.

“This recognition reflects a journey that has always been about using data to solve real problems, not just within organisations, but in ways that create wider impact,” Stanley said. “From agriculture to fintech and now broader analytics leadership, the goal has remained consistent to make data useful, accessible, and transformative.”

Across his professional journey, Stanley has contributed to strengthening how organisations collect, interpret, and apply data in decision making. His work has supported improvements in operational efficiency, reporting systems, and forecasting, helping teams move from reactive processes to more informed and forward looking strategies. These contributions have played a role in improving how businesses operate, particularly in environments where data driven decision making is still evolving.

“In many cases, the difference between progress and stagnation is the ability to interpret and apply data effectively,” he said. “That has shaped how I approach building systems and supporting teams.”

His impact extends beyond internal operations into broader organisational outcomes, where the use of analytics has influenced performance, reduced inefficiencies, and strengthened accountability across teams. By focusing on practical application, his work continues to demonstrate how data can deliver tangible value when properly integrated into everyday processes.

Beyond his corporate work, Stanley is also the founder of Noblex Initiatives, a tech coaching platform focused on introducing young people to technology through practical and engaging learning methods. Through this platform, he has simplified complex concepts, making them more accessible to younger audiences and aspiring professionals who may not have traditional exposure to the tech space.

“Technology should not feel distant or exclusive,” he said. “If people can see themselves in it, they engage with it differently, and that is where real transformation begins.”

The Crest Africa West Africa Innovation Award highlights his combined impact across professional work and education, recognising both his contributions to industry and his role in supporting future talent within Nigeria’s technology space. The recognition also reflects the growing importance of individuals who can connect technical expertise with real world outcomes across multiple sectors.

As organisations continue to depend on data to guide decisions, professionals who can translate complex information into actionable insight are becoming increasingly important. Stanley’s recognition reinforces the value of that role and the importance of building systems and knowledge that extend beyond immediate business needs into long term development.
