From Farms to Global Impact: How Nyifamu Manzo is Leading Africa’s AgriTech Revolution

Nyifamu Ogechi Manzo, Founder and CEO of Farmatrix Agro Allied and Technology Company, is transforming African agriculture by empowering smallholder farmers through technology, climate-smart practices, and access to profitable markets. Over the last six years, Nyifamu has built strategic partnerships across the agricultural value chain, positioning Farmatrix as a leading force in food systems transformation across Nigeria and beyond.
Through Farmatrix, Nyifamu has impacted over 8,000 smallholder farmers, providing digital tools, training, and logistical support to reduce post-harvest losses, improve yields, and increase profitability. Her vision is ambitious: to scale this impact to 1 million smallholder farmers by 2028, with a particular focus on women and youth, creating economic opportunities and sustainable livelihoods across Africa.
Nyifamu’s influence extends beyond her company. As a Global Future Council Member on Soil Security at the World Economic Forum, a Climate Reality Leader, and a Global Shaper, she shapes international discussions on sustainable land management, climate resilience, and food security. She has also spoken at high-profile events including the WEF Annual Meeting in Davos, Trade Connect Africa Conference (UK), GITEX Africa, and the Africa Food Systems Forum, advocating for inclusive and scalable solutions that empower rural communities.
Farmatrix has forged impactful collaborations with organizations such as Premier Tropicana Nigeria Limited, Heifer International, Technoserve, and AGRA, strengthening the agricultural ecosystem and providing smallholder farmers with the tools and networks needed to succeed in a competitive global market. Nyifamu’s leadership style is resilient, mission-driven, and inclusive, reflecting her belief that entrepreneurship is a gateway to national prosperity and sustainable development.
Nyifamu is recognized internationally for her contributions. She is a Leading African Women in Food Fellow, a West Africa Acumen Fellow, and an alumna of prestigious programs including the Commonwealth Startup Fellowship, YALI RLC, Tony Elumelu Foundation, and Fate Foundation. Her work aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially Zero Hunger, No Poverty, Climate Action, and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
