Obele Hails Ejiogu on Rare Igbo Chieftaincy Title Conferment

Ikenna Anthony Obele (Okwunze Aguata) has extended warmth congratulatory message to High Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu (Onowu Anara Ancient Kingdom) ahead of his prestigious chieftaincy title conferment as ‘ Aka Epuchionwa Igboland’ by the South East Council of Traditional Rulers, slated for Saturday, August 23, 2025.

Chief Dr. Ikenna Obele: Chairman, Mekens Integrated Nigeria Limited— a business conglomerate of property developers, construction experts, oil and gas, manufacturing and distribution solutions—lauded High Chief Ejiogu’s notable achievements as an Igbo industrialist, particularly his investments in human capacity building and regional development through multiple business establishments.

The prestigious Aka Epuchionwa Igboland title is considered one of the rarest and most esteemed traditional honours in Igboland, reserved for individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service, leadership, and contributions to their people.
No doubt, High Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu, who serves as the National President of Akuluno United Brothers Association – a leading pan- Igbo socio-cultural organisation has long been recognized for his business acumen, philanthropic contributions, and dedication to preserving Igbo rich cultural heritage.
