African Entertainment Stars Lead Nominations for ICONS NOBLE AWARDS Africa 2025

Lagos, Nigeria — The ICONS NOBLE AWARDS Africa has announced its nominees for the 2025 edition, marking the 10th anniversary of the pan-African event that honours excellence across film, music, fashion, and social impact.

In the Best Male Act (Movie) of the Year category, nominees include Nigerian performers Bayo Beats, Kevin Blak, Kenzy (Ezike Uche Kelvin), and Lil Hexz. Organisers say the nominees were selected for “exceptional screen performances and contributions to African cinema over the past year.”

Other categories announced include Best Female Act (Movie), Breakthrough Music Artist, and Humanitarian of the Year, featuring a range of talent from Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria.

The 2025 ceremony, themed “Legacy, Excellence, Next Chapter”, will be held later this year in Lagos. According to the awards committee, the event will feature live performances, industry tributes, and the presentation of special recognition honours to trailblazers in African entertainment.

Public voting has opened via the official ICONS NOBLE AWARDS Africa website, and will remain active until two weeks before the ceremony. Winners will be determined by a combination of public votes and a jury panel comprised of industry professionals.
