Farinloye to Launch FarloFX Trading Platform, to Transform Access to Global Markets
African fintech entrepreneur Kenny Farinloye is making waves in the global financial sector as he prepares to launch FarloFX, a next-generation digital trading platform designed to bridge the gap between highly regulated financial markets and the untapped potential of emerging economies.
With a deep understanding of both institutional finance and the real-world challenges of underserved markets, Farinloye is building a trading solution that prioritises trust, transparency, and accessibility. FarloFX is designed to serve retail and semi-professional traders across Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and other frontier markets where access to world-class financial infrastructure remains limited.
Currently under development, FarloFX is built with a mobile-first architecture, copy-trading functionality, local payment ramps, and ultra-fast execution infrastructure—features specifically engineered to solve the pain points experienced by traders in volatile and infrastructure-limited environments.
“We are not just building another trading app,” Farinloye said. “We are developing a reliable, regulated, and globally aligned platform that empowers traders in emerging markets to access opportunities with the same quality of experience and transparency as their counterparts in developed economies.”
The platform is anchored in UK-aligned infrastructure, leveraging Tier-1 UK-based liquidity providers and compliance frameworks connected to FCA-regulated entities. This ensures that traders in countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Brazil, and Vietnam gain access to global markets with institutional-grade protections and best-in-class standards.
FarloFX emerges at a crucial time, as currency instability, inflation, and fragmented local financial systems challenge the growth of individual traders and small investment communities. By offering access to global FX and digital asset markets, along with secure infrastructure and compliance-led operations, FarloFX is positioning itself as a credible alternative to both legacy brokerages and low-trust platforms.
Farinloye also serves as Co-Founder of 1.2 Capital, a New York-based hedge fund and digital asset infrastructure firm co-led with Sebastian Purcell, giving him a unique vantage point on how to align institutional capital, fintech innovation, and regulatory frameworks in building scalable solutions for high-growth markets.
Though the platform has not officially launched, momentum is already building. A growing waitlist of over 3,000 early users—including retail traders, financial education networks, and institutional partners—is positioning FarloFX as one of the most anticipated fintech rollouts in the region. A phased beta testing program is set to commence ahead of full deployment.
Industry observers are calling FarloFX a powerful signal of what’s possible when homegrown African innovation meets global infrastructure. In a fast-evolving digital finance ecosystem, FarloFX aims to unlock a future where traders in emerging economies can operate with the speed, protection, and sophistication of the world’s leading financial hubs, without compromise.
