Third Edition: The Peak Performer Awards Open for Nominations

Africa’s best and brightest achievers are set to take centre stage as The Peak Performer Africa opens nominations for the 2025 edition of TPP Awards.

While the awards are open for outstanding professionals, entrepreneurs, public servants, and organisations, the deadline for nominations is Thursday, 31st July, 2025.

The nominations in the five demographics across nine categories include Business & Entrepreneurship, Corporate & Industry Leadership, Science, Tech & Innovation, Public Service & Policy, Arts, Media & Entertainment, Education & Research, Social Impact & Humanitarian Work, Sports & Fitness, and Special Distinctions (Diaspora Impact and Rising Star Awards)

Employers, colleagues, mentors, industry peers, or the candidates themselves can submit nominations.

Each submission must clearly demonstrate leadership, innovation, integrity, and measurable impact.

This prestigious inclusive platform recognises and celebrates exceptional Africans who are trailblazing new paths, transforming industries, and driving impactful change in communities nationwide and beyond.

From bold entrepreneurs, tech disruptors to visionary artists, corporate game-changers through to social impact champions, the awards spotlight emerging leaders, women in leadership, C-level executives, legacy founders and organisations building Africa’s present and future.

The Founder of The Peak Performer Africa, Dr. Abiola Salami, said, “Africa is brimming with young talent and unstoppable resilience.

“The Peak Performer Africa Awards is our way of celebrating these remarkable stories and inspiring millions more to dream boldly and act courageously as we inspire an inclusive culture of excellence on our continent.”

The rigorous judging process will involve a panel of respected industry leaders who will score nominees based on leadership qualities, innovation, impact, growth potential, and professional integrity.

While finalists will be unveiled in August 2025, the winners will be honoured at The Peak Performer Festival in Lagos later this year.

To nominate, participants are encouraged to visit https://tppafrica.com/2025-award-nomination/ and submit their entry.

The founder described the awards not just as an accolade, but as a catalyst for the continent’s pride, mentorship, and socio-economic growth.

“As we spotlight these dynamic achievers, we call on visionary corporations, development agencies, brands, and philanthropic organisations to stand with us as sponsors and partners,” says Salami.

The Peak Performer Awards are calling for sponsorship. Corporate bodies, organisations, and individual sponsors stand to gain prominent brand exposure to Africa’s most promising talent and decision-makers.

Sponsors will also have alignment with youth empowerment, innovation, and national development goals, direct engagement opportunities with top industry leaders and future shapers; powerful storytelling moments that inspire millions; join us to invest in the leaders who are reimagining Africa today and for generations to come.
