SOSG Unveils SubsidiSed Food Shop For Citizens

In a bid to alleviate economic hardship, Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, has launched a subsidized food program for citizens.

The program, dubbed, “Shagon Sauki Na Amadun Alu,” aims to provide essential food items at reduced rates to state civil servants, local government staff, and pensioners.

At the launch ceremony, Sokoto explained that the program is a strategic investment to improve the well-being of citizens.

“We are committed to prioritizing the welfare of our people through various initiatives that would make life meaningful,” he said.
