Nigerian Philanthropist Grace Ihonvbere to Be Recognized Internationally in Canada

Mrs. Grace Ihonvbere, a prominent Nigerian advocate for women’s leadership and international development,, is set to be honoured in Canada for her impact on global community empowerment, women’s leadership, and strategic investment.
The recognition will be conferred by Oceanwaves Strategies Inc., a Canada-based international development and investment consultancy, during the Ocean Waves Golf and Investment Tour 2025 scheduled to hold from July 31 to August 7 in Brampton, Ontario.
Mrs Ihonvbere, a member of the Board of Trustees at the IBB International Golf and Country Club, will lead a high-level delegation of investors to explore economic and development opportunities in Brampton as part of the tour’s business engagement segment.
The week-long event will also feature leisure and cultural activities, including a wine-tasting tour, a visit to Niagara Falls, fine dining, and access to the renowned Caribana Festival in Toronto.
In a statement signed by Ken George Eneduwa, President of Oceanwaves Strategies Inc., the organisation described Mrs Ihonvbere as “a symbol of influence and elegance,” adding that her recognition signals growing global appreciation for African excellence and visionary leadership.
According to the organisers, the award celebrates her dedication to inclusive growth and the promotion of international partnerships that advance sustainable development.
