JHomes to Revolutionise Nigeria’s Rental Market with Monthly Payment System

JHomes, a tech-driven rental platform, is set to launch 1st July 2025, promising to transform Nigeria’s real estate sector with a groundbreaking monthly payment model.

Led by Dr. Oluwasegun Adebiyi, the platform eliminates hefty upfront rental costs, agency fees, and hidden charges, offering a transparent and affordable solution for tenants, landlords, and property managers.

The platform addresses longstanding issues in Nigeria’s rental market by allowing tenants to pay rent monthly instead of annually or biannually. For instance, a N600,000 annual rent can now be paid as N50,000 monthly, with no additional fees. JHomes supports a wide range of properties, including residential homes, commercial spaces, shops, warehouses, and open lands.

“This is a solution long overdue in Nigeria’s housing sector,” said Adebiyi. “JHomes empowers Nigerians with a fairer, tech-driven rental experience, making housing affordable and stress-free.”

JHomes offers three flexible contract models: direct rentals through the platform, formalising offline rental agreements, and migrating existing leases for structured monthly payments and digital management. The platform caters to tenants seeking flexibility, landlords wanting consistent income, and property managers needing automated tools for rent collection and contract oversight.

JHomes’ Business Development Lead, Adeola Adebiyi described the platform as “a movement” responding to years of calls for rental reform. Social media buzz and early adopters, like Lagos tenant Chidinma Uzo, are already praising the initiative. “Tech meets transparency—this is what Nigeria’s housing sector needs.”

With its innovative approach, JHomes is poised to redefine renting in Nigeria, one monthly payment at a time.
