Mbamara Bethel Crowned Mister International Nigeria 2025, Set to Represent Nigeria in Thailand

The search for Nigeria’s next global representative has officially come to an end as Mbamara Bethel Chidera emerges as Mister International Nigeria 2025. He was crowned at the 2025 Misters of Nigeria competition held at Muson Center, Onikan Lagos after emerging top 3. The 24-year-old law student from Rivers State University will fly the Nigerian flag at the upcoming Mister International competition, set to take place this September in Thailand.

A proud indigene of Anambra State, born and raised in Port Harcourt, Bethel is the fourth of six children and a true blend of brains, confidence, and social consciousness. Currently in his final year of law school, he has a strong passion for youth development. Bethel founded the Rising Kings Initiative, a platform dedicated to nurturing and empowering young boys to become responsible, value-driven leaders. The initiative offers mentorship, skills-building workshops, and advocacy programs aimed at helping boys navigate society with purpose and self-worth.

Bethel steps into the role at a time when Nigeria holds a unique position on the Mister International stage. The reigning Mister International, Samuel Nwajagu, made history in December 2024 as the first African to ever win the prestigious title. His victory shattered decades of global pageant patterns and placed Nigeria squarely in the international spotlight. Now, with Bethel taking the reins, the pressure is on, but so is the potential.

“It’s an honor to represent Nigeria, especially following such a monumental win last year,” Bethel said. “But I’m not here to repeat history, I’m here to expand it. This is about using the platform to drive meaningful impact, not just pose for pictures.”

The Mister International competition is one of the Big Three global male pageants, renowned for celebrating not just aesthetics but intelligence, communication, cultural understanding, and community impact. Delegates from over 40 countries will compete in various segments all leading to the crowning moment in Thailand this September.

With the title of Mister International Nigeria, Bethel joins an elite league of changemakers, models, and advocates committed to representing the modern Nigerian man, one rooted in culture, confidence, and community. And if history has taught us anything, it’s that Nigeria isn’t just attending this pageant. Nigeria is here to win.
