Dr. Ebuka I. Ewuzie Honoured with Nelson Mandela Leadership Award, Appointed ECOWAS Youth Ambassador

In a resounding acknowledgment of his remarkable contributions to youth empowerment and inclusive development, Dr. Ebuka I. Ewuzie, CEO of Bukasin Unique Services, has been conferred with the Nelson Mandela Leadership Award of Excellence and Integrity and officially appointed as a Youth Ambassador by the ECOWAS Youth Council (EYC).
The twin honours were bestowed during a high-profile ceremony held in Abuja on March 24, 2025.
The award, one of the highest recognitions offered by the ECOWAS Youth Council under the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), celebrates young leaders who exemplify exceptional integrity, social impact, and a deep commitment to the development of their communities.
Dr. Ewuzie was recognized for his dynamic leadership in Nigeria’s real estate sector, particularly his efforts to make land ownership accessible to everyday Nigerians, and for his longstanding commitment to mentoring and empowering young people.
Dr. Ewuzie’s real estate firm, Bukasin Unique Services, has distinguished itself through innovative, affordable property solutions that prioritize transparency, customer education, and wealth creation for artisans, traders, and young professionals.
His business model goes beyond profit, focusing on creating lasting social and economic change—a mission that aligns strongly with the vision of the ECOWAS Youth Council.
The event was attended by key dignitaries, youth advocates, and stakeholders from across West Africa. In his acceptance speech, Dr. Ewuzie expressed deep gratitude to the ECOWAS Youth Council, describing the recognition as a call to deeper service.

With his new appointment as ECOWAS Youth Ambassador, Dr. Ewuzie joins an elite cadre of youth leaders tasked with promoting entrepreneurship, regional cooperation, and youth engagement across West Africa.
The role will see him champion initiatives that bridge economic divides and foster greater unity among ECOWAS member states.
