Nigeria Maritime University Appoints Key Principal Officers

The Nigeria Maritime University (NMU) has announced the appointment of three principal officers to key administrative roles. The Governing Council approved the following appointments at its 21st meeting (emergency) held on 15th April 2025 in Warrii. Delta state.

Paul Bebenimibo, as the new Registrar,
Abduldayan Fatimah Jibril as the new librarian and
Gbe Tamaraudebaemi Justin is the new Bursar.

According to a statement from the Chairman/Pro-Chancellor of the Governing Council, Abdullahi Bardi, the three individuals were selected as the top candidates after a thorough interview process conducted by an eight-member selection committee. The appointments were made by the university’s established regulations.

Mr. Bardi stated that the Governing Council is confident that these appointments will contribute significantly to the continued growth and development of the Nigeria Maritime University.
