Oluwafemi Oloruntoba Wins 2025 TITAN Innovation Silver Prize for Infrastructure Technology

Nigerian technologist Oluwafemi Oloruntoba has clinched the Silver honour for Innovation in Technology – Infrastructure Technology at the 2025 TITAN Innovation Awards, an international competition that drew more than 1,000 entries from over 30 countries.
The award recognizes Oloruntoba’s AI-powered approach to database administration and cloud-infrastructure design, work credited with slashing operational costs for global clients while tightening security and boosting performance across multi-cloud estates.
“Winning this award is a milestone not just for me but for everyone striving to rethink how digital assets are managed and protected,” Oloruntoba told ThisDay. “Innovation in infrastructure technology underpins the growth and resilience of modern enterprises, and I’m honoured to see these efforts recognized on a global stage.”
A statistics graduate of Prince Abubakar Audu University, the Kogi-born engineer has spent more than a decade at the intersection of enterprise data systems, earning credentials as an Oracle Certified Professional, AWS Solutions Architect and Generative-AI specialist. His research has appeared in leading journals, and he has delivered keynote sessions at forums such as Oracle Cloud World and the Cohesion Conference.
Thomas Brandt, spokesperson for the International Awards Associate, the body that oversees the TITAN programme hailed Oloruntoba’s win as evidence of “the forward-thinking innovation that drives industry transformation.”
Now in its ninth year, the TITAN Innovation Awards spotlight trailblazers in technology, design and business, with judges assessing originality, impact and scalability. Oloruntoba’s accolade underscores Africa’s growing footprint in advanced cloud and AI solutions and signals fresh momentum for home-grown talent shaping the global tech landscape.
