Efe Ronald Chesterfield Honored With Yessiey Awards

Nigerian writer, playwright, poet, and essayist Efe Ronald Chesterfield has been recognized as one of Yessiey Africa’s 100 Most Impactful People of 2024. This honor highlights his significant contributions to literature and education in Nigeria.

Chesterfield is known for his innovative use of language and creative storytelling. He popularized the term “swaggersome,” which has been added to dictionaries like Wiktionary. Beyond his writing, he is deeply committed to education. He founded The Chesterfield Academy, an online platform dedicated to improving learning experiences for school-age children worldwide.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, Chesterfield has specialized in Visual Arts and English Language. His passion for public speaking is equally remarkable—through his NGO, the Sublime Foundation for Africa, he has trained more than 5,000 children in public speaking, helping them build confidence and communication skills.

Being included in Yessiey Africa’s prestigious list highlights the impact of his work and his dedication to fostering creativity and critical thinking among young people. While continuing his journey as a writer and performer, Chesterfield remains a powerful voice in contemporary African literature and education.
