In under two years, the brand has already gained significant recognition in the fashion industry. The brand has produced two denim collections, which have been showcased at major fashion events such as Rhythm on the Runway and Paris Fashion Week side shows. One of its collections even earned a feature in Harper’s Bazaar, cementing its place in the global fashion scene.

Committed to producing high-quality distressed denim outfits, PETR KONYE seamlessly blends heritage with modern aesthetics. The brand operates through Instagram, direct sales, referrals, runway shows, and collaborations with influencers, ensuring its reach extends across different markets.

However, running a business in Nigeria comes with its challenges. “It’s the same torture every entrepreneur faces in Nigeria—high costs, inconsistent policies, and infrastructure issues,” Okonye Petr admits.

Despite these obstacles, the brand is forging ahead with ambitious plans, including opening a flagship store on Lagos Island to cater to its growing clientele.
