Institute Unveiled to Transform Future of Ethical Network Marketing in Nigeria
The network marketing industry in Nigeria is entering a new era of credibility, transparency, and ethical business practices with the official launch of the Institutes of Network Marketers (INM).
The body, through a press statement made available to THISDAY, says it is committed to regulating, training, and protecting network marketers while setting a gold standard for ethical and sustainable network marketing practices.
INM admitted that a lack of proper oversight has made it difficult for legitimate businesses and marketers to thrive. Thus, this challenge paved the way for the establishment of the Institutes of Network Marketers. “INM aims to address these challenges by defining and enforcing ethical standards for network marketing companies; providing professional training and certification for network marketers.
“It is also protecting Nigerians from fraudulent schemes masquerading as network marketing; recognising and rewarding excellence in ethical and sustainable business practices, and supporting the credibility of legitimate network marketing companies through endorsements.”
Adeolu Akinyemi is the visionary leader of INM. He has spent years bringing together top leaders from various network marketing companies to create a structured and ethical framework for the industry.
Under his leadership, INM has developed a comprehensive training system for new and experienced marketers, established a strict code of conduct to guide ethical business operations, and introduced a recognition and rewards system to celebrate professionals who uphold the true values of network marketing.
Through his efforts and the support of industry pioneers, INM now stands as a beacon of integrity and a regulatory force in the Nigerian network marketing sector.
On what sets INM apart, Akinyemi described it is a regulatory body with action and a registered organisation with a clear mandate to regulate, educate, and certify businesses in the industry.
According to the body, companies that fail to meet ethical standards will not receive INM’s endorsement, ensuring only legitimate businesses thrive.
INM says it provides structured education, mentorship, and leadership training to empower marketers with the knowledge and skills needed for ethical success.
While INM is concerned that many network marketers operate with integrity without industry recognition, it is setting the pace for acknowledging and celebrating those who uphold ethical business values, setting a benchmark for others to follow.
One of the most significant contributions of INM is the “INM Approved” certification, which serves as a trust signal for companies that meet global industry standards. “This initiative will help individuals verify the credibility of a network marketing company before joining, protecting them from fraudulent schemes.”
With the official launch of INM, “The industry is poised for transformation, ensuring a fair and secure environment for all participants,” says Akinyemi.
INM, therefore, expressed commitment to drive positive change through ducational programmes and professional certifications for network marketers.
