Radio personality James Expensive Urges National Unity to Stem Insecurity in Nigeria

Renowned radio personality and broadcast activist, Ambassador James Expensive, popularly known as ‘Expensivehimself’, has expressed deep concern over Nigeria’s ongoing security challenges.In a recent statement, Expensivehimself highlighted the commendable efforts of the Nigerian military in apprehending terrorists who have been wreaking havoc across the nation. However, he lamented that these efforts are often undermined when apprehended terrorists are released due to interventions from influential civilians.

Nigerians are disturbed over efforts by the military to curb the ugly trend by making enormous arrests of terrorists inflicting pains on the people through their nefarious activities, only for some of these terrorists to be released from detention through the intervention of civilians in high places,” Expensivehimself remarked.

He emphasized that overcoming these security challenges requires a collective commitment to patriotism. Expensivehimself urged leaders to prioritize national interests and move beyond the lingering influences of colonialism. He also called upon citizens to set aside religious and tribal differences and to collaborate closely with security agencies to address and prevent security concerns effectively.
The only way for the country to overcome the challenges is for our leaders to be patriotic and ignore the dictatorship of the colonial masters,” he advised.He further urged citizens to “set aside religious and tribal differences, cooperate with security agencies to nip security concerns in the bud.”
