Loss of Stepmother: Damagun, Fintiri, Inuwa Yahaya, Emirs Sympathise with Bauchi Gov

Dignitaries from within and outside Bauchi State have sympathized with Governor Bala Abdukadir Mohammed following the passing on of his stepmother, Hajiya Hauwa Mohammed Duguri.
This was as Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya sent his heartfelt condolences to his Bauchi State counterpart, over the demise of his stepmother, Hajiya Hauwa Duguri, popularly known as Dada, who passed away at the age of 120 years.
They include the governor of Adamawa State Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Acting National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party PDP Ambassador Umar Ilya Damagun and members of the Bauchi State Council of Emirs led by the Emir of Bauchi Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu among others.
In their separate messages Governor Ahmadu fintiri, Ambassador Umar Damagun and his Royal Highness, the Emir of Bauchi Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu prayed for the soul of the deceased to find eternal peace in Jannatul Firdaus.
They described her death as a great loss to her family, Duguri community, and the entire state.
Responding Governor Bala Mohammed expressed deep gratitude for the show of concern, describing the deceased as an exemplary mother who lived a life worthy of emulation.
This was contained in a condolence message issued by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General (Press Affairs), Government House, Gombe which was made available to Journalists Thursday.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya who expressed sorrow over the loss, described the late Hajiya Hauwa as a great woman and exemplary mother whose long life was marked by wisdom, kindness, and devotion to her family and community.
The Northern States Governors’ Forum Chairman, while acknowledging the impact of her life and legacy, sympathized with the bereaved family and the entire people of Bauchi State over the huge loss.
He urged the family to find solace in the exemplary life she led and the positive influence she had on those around her.
The governor offered prayers for the late centenarian, seeking Almighty Allah’s forgiveness for her shortcomings and praying Him to reward her good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus.
Hajiya Hauwa Mohammed Duguri who died yesterday at the age of 120 had been battling a protracted illness.
