Music is my life – P-Kay

When you have over 3 million followers on TikTok, it doesn’t really matter who you are, almost anything you touch in the digital space is going to turn to gold. It is a midas touch, earned rather than inherited. That is the story of a Sierra Leonean music artist known as P-Kay popularly known as Peter A A. Komba and born Peter Umar Komba.

P-Kay was born with many attributes of an entertainer, with special passion for TikTok, music and acting. He was born on July 20, 2002 in Freetown where he developed love for music a couple of years ago. But his TikToking laid the foundation for his prominence in the digital space, setting adrift his other latent talents, which were in essence waiting to blossom.

“I have five siblings, including my twin brother, Paul. My family are supportive of my passion for TikTok, music and acting and they encouraged me to pursue music and other careers. My sister inspired me to start doing
TikTok videos on her phone. In 2020 I started using my own account and became famous
with close to 3M followers. I decided to go into acting since I have the passion for it, and I
have done a couple of movies and some skits,” he said, recounting how his journey began.

P-Kay aka AA Komba opened his account as a music artist in 2022 with the release of a highly successful debut single titled “Scatter” which was produced by the great Nigerian producer, Mastercraft. “Scatter” was released under his record label known as Cribs International and currently trending on all digital platforms.

” ‘Scatter’ has inspired me to continue to pursue my dream of becoming a successful musician,” he said.

“Music means a lot to me, music is life. When I’m stressed or has so much going on, music heals me and it means a lot to me.

“As a musician, my ultimate goal is to create music that connects with people on a deep level and brings joy to their lives. I love expressing myself through music and sharing that experience with others,” he added.
