Kano Senator Pledges to Complete Four Township Stadiums before 2023

Senator Barau Jibrin yesterday pledged to complete the Kabo, Dawakin Tofa, Bichi and Dambatta township stadia before February 2023.

Senator Jibrin, who spoke through his aide, Mr. Yazeed Nuhu Shuaibu, explained that the construction activities at the sites have reached 50 percent completion.

Jibrin said: “So far, the project is taking shape as planned with over 50 percent of the project concluded.”

Jibrin said the sporting activities remained the best options to stay healthy and keep fit.

He stated that: “Its benefits have gone further beyond this, and it has got both physical and physiological benefits.”

The senator said sports play a role in encouraging the people to stay fit and healthy.

He said: “When the people are fit and healthy, automatically it leads to development of the individual and the country.”
