Edo College Old Boys Storm Asaba for Akpapunam’s Burial

The reach of the much talked about old school boys’ network was on display yesterday in Asaba, Delta State when the remains of Mrs. Kosor Akpapunam, wife of entertainment personality, Mr. Henry Akpapunam, were committed to mother earth.

His high school buddies from ECOBA 65-69 set out in large numbers in solidarity to offer comfort and support to their members.

Mrs. Akpapunam died in London after a brief illness. She retired from the Nigerian Agip oil company after 35 years of meritorious service.

“It was overwhelming. Their presence was a morale booster. They flew in from far and wide. They were led by our chairman Prof. Reuben Osahon, Dr. Ifeanyi Uraih, Godwin Sagay, Oludare Agbe Davies, to mention but a few. I am grateful they took time out to attend my wife’s burial and to support me. God bless them all,” Henry Akpapunam said.

Pastor Patrick Okoro who led a large contingent of members from RCCG, Games Village Parish, Abuja

said in his sermon at the interment, “Kosor Akpapunam was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of all those who came across her path. She will be missed.”
