Anambra Supplementary Poll: Voting Under way in Ihiala

Voting has started in Ihiala Local government area, where the Supplementary election for Anambra Governorship election is taking place.

A visit to Mbosi community, ward 20 showed that voting had started, with voters already casting their votes.

A technical officer with the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC who spoke to our correspondent said the voting was going on well.

“We started voting at about 12pm, and there is satisfactory level of turnout.

“The Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machine is working perfectly today. We updated our software and today, it is not taking up to one minute to accredit one voter,” she said.
