Sanwo-Olu Evacuates Lagos Students, Indigenes from Jos

As the violence in Jos, the Plateau State capital, escalates, Lagos state Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has started evacuating Lagos State students and Indigenes from Jos.

The first set of evacuees, who are mainly students, arrived Lagos Friday afternoon and were expected to meet with the governor at Lagos House, Ikeja before being released to their families.

The governor came to their rescue following reports of attacks on non-indigenes by gunmen in Jos.
