Lagos PDP Chairman, Dominic Adegbola, Dies at 73

Chairman, Lagos State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Dominic Adegbola, has died.
Adegbola died on Wednesday. Spokesperson of the party, Barr. Taofik Gani, said the PDP chieftain, who had been ill for some days died at Gbagbada General Hospital in Lagos
Dominic, a medical practitioner, was a grassroots politician from the days of defunct Action Group (AG) led by the late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo.
He held several other political positions, including State SDP officer; State Chairman of PAC and National Chairman of APN (Founded by late Lateef Jakande).
He also contested Lagos State governorship election under the platform of APGA, and the Lagos West Senatorial primary of the Social Dempcratic Party, a contest between him and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
A Lagos High Court judgment had recently reinstated him as the PDP chairman in the state.
