Cadastra360 Launches to Digitize Land Registry, Combat Property Fraud in Nigeria

Lagos, Nigeria – In a move that could reshape Nigeria’s troubled land registry system, entrepreneur Ayoola Adetutu Oniyinde has launched Cadastra360, a digital platform designed to verify property ownership, digitize land records, and reduce the country’s growing incidence of land fraud.
Launched barely a week ago, Cadastra360 provides a secure online service where individuals, companies, and government agencies can check land ownership in minutes, access Certificates of Occupancy in electronic format, and receive fraud alerts on duplicate or disputed properties. This digital technology startup is under the umbrella of P.B.G. Business Ventures, which Ayoola has been operating since 2011.
“Property ownership should bring peace of mind, not prolonged court battles,” said Ayoola Adetutu Oniyinde, Founder of Cadastra360. “We built this platform to bring trust and transparency into Nigeria’s property market through technology.”
The platform leverages blockchain technology, GIS mapping, and integrations with state registries to ensure that land titles are verifiable, tamper-proof, and accessible nationwide. It also allows users to pay land charges and download secure verification reports with QR codes for offline validation.
Property fraud and disputed ownership remain major challenges in Nigeria, costing citizens and businesses billions of naira each year. Experts believe that digital registries such as Cadastra360 could reduce verification times from months to minutes, while improving investor confidence in the real estate sector.
Beyond individual users, Cadastra360 is targeting banks, real estate developers, and law firms, offering enterprise dashboards and APIs for bulk verification and due diligence. The platform also positions itself as a partner for state governments seeking to modernize land administration systems.
Industry watchers note that the launch of Cadastra360 aligns with Nigeria’s broader push toward digital transformation and e-governance, and could serve as a model for similar solutions across Africa.
