As a result of the dynamism of entrepreneurship alongside the evolution of new professions in recent years, Amb Omotayo Salako, the Convener of TIME Conference ( Formerly known as the Young Entrepreneurs International Summit), 40 Under 40 CEO Nigeria and Young Person of the Years Summit has over the years provide platforms to discuss the new wave in changes and also kit the younger generation on the tools needed to succeed as an entrepreneur in Nigeria.
Since 2016, Omotayo has provided platform to teach, train, mentor and empower young passionate entrepreneurs. He is currently embarking on the 2024 Edition of the TIME Conference, which is aimed at teaching, inspiring, mentoring and empowering young entrepreneurs in Nigeria. The conference is expected to have over 300 participants from across Nigeria, alongside top successful entrepreneurs in Nigeria who would be sharing nuggets on running a sustainable business in Nigeria.
Omotayo’s passion is to raise a new breed of outstanding young entrepreneurs, who can sustainably run a profitable business in Nigeria and beyond. He has mentored hundred of young and student entrepreneurs through his engage platform, and directly impacted over 20,000 young business owners in Nigeria and other parts of the globe.
He is a graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University, with a Diploma in Law, Bachelor in History and Diplomatic Studies and a Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership and Management from the prestigious Lagos Business School. He has been described as Selfless, Entrepreneurship Enthusiast. In 2019, he was awarded with a Certificate of Appointment as an Ambassador by the Peaceful Mind Foundation, UAE with endorsement from United Nations Global Compact and the Global Youth Mental Health Forum. In 2024, he was also listed as one of the 100 Most Inspirational Men of 2023.
