Rotary, KKF Unveils Initiative to Bolster Community Devt, Engagements

The Rotary District 9110 and the Kirti Kare Foundation (KKF) have partnered to launch an initiative aimed at fostering community engagement and positive impact in the society and Nigeria at large.
The move according to them would assist in
decision-making, build and sustain cohesive communities, improves outcomes, ensure access and community empowerment, promote sustainable decisions, drives social transformation and deepen democracy in the country.


In a statement issued to Thisday, the Founder, KKF, Dr. Kirti a prominent figure within the Rotary community, echoed sentiments of gratitude, emphasising the selfless nature of Rotary’s endeavors.
She stated that with the support of individuals like the Executive Chairman, Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala, Rotary’s impact knows no bounds, as it continues to touch the lives of countless individuals in meaningful ways.


She added that Rotary, known for its commitment to service and fostering goodwill, continues to spearhead impactful initiatives aimed at uplifting communities and fostering positive change.


“Led by distinguished individuals like HRA KKF, Rotary International remains a beacon of hope, embodying the spirit of action and compassion,” she said.


With a focus on innovation and the exchange of positive energy, Rotarians across District 9110 are dedicated to implementing new ideas that address societal needs. The visionary founder of KKF emphasized the importance of goodness begetting goodness, a principle exemplified by the remarkable projects undertaken within the district.


Under the dynamic leadership of Rotarian Rita Ifeyinwa Ejezie CRM, District Governor,Rotary District 9110 embarks on yet another chapter of service, driven by a commitment to excellence. Initiatives such as the Rotary Sports Festival underscore the organization’s dedication to promoting camaraderie and healthy competition.


Recently, members of the Rotary Sports Festival Committee Chairman ROSFEST, Rtn Alozie Nsirimobi, had the privilege of meeting with the esteemed Ambassador HON. Rasaq Olusola AJala.


During the meeting, plans for upcoming events, including the Golf Finals and Football Finals, were discussed. The events, scheduled for 1st March at Ikoyi Club and 9th March at Onikpan Stadium respectively, promise to be exciting showcases of athleticism and community spirit.
In a bid to expand participation and garner support, the committee extended invitations to other LCDA Chairmen and their families, urging them to join in the festivities. Vice Chairman ROSFEST
