A once in a lifetime event designed to showcase Africa’s colourful and exciting cultures, in forms of dance, music, art and cuisines will take place this year

The carnival-like event is designed to celebrate the diversity and inclusion practices inherent in African cultures and traditions. The core of the festival is to expand on cultural integration by bringing people together to interact, network and unwind

According to the organizers, Media Interfaces Bolaji Bello, stated, “This festival is expected to attract 30,000 attendees from all walks of life from 23rd to 25th August 2024 at East Park, Wolverhampton and promises to be a showcase of talent and African pride, a platform for up-and-coming artists, musicians, and performers.”

WaBiaZo Fest promises to be an unforgettable experience. Guests can immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of ogene music, highlife and fuji music, as well as various culinary flavors and delicacies from Africa. There will also be dances from Ekombi, Koroso, Bata, and Atilogwu dance troupes with colorful masquerade parades.

Some top Afrobeats artists, British and Bollywood music artists, cultural performances, traditional dance troupes, masquerade parades, art exhibitions, and a range of delicious African cuisine, like jollof, suya, moi moi, egusi soup, akara, and much more will be available for attendees.

Through this festival, Ceeyah will also be providing African children in the diaspora a unique opportunity to explore and celebrate their cultural heritage. The organizers invite all to join in this cultural celebration to experience the vibrant spirit of Africa and be a part of this momentous and symbolic event.
