Lance Elakamah’s Inspiring Journey

Lance Musa Elakamah’s  story  is such that would interest anyone aspiring to go into business.

If you have an encounter with him and prod him to expose the secret of his success story,  he will likely inundate you with his humble beginning, including when he worked as  deputy director general, Nigeria Stock Exchange.

Another chapter which  he would probably talk about in his long walk to fame was the unnerving experience he suffered,  following the exit of his former  boss.  The reason,  he often mentions,  is that many had seen him as the likely successor to former NSE  DG. Dr. Ndidi Okereke-Onyuike;  hence the drumbeats of war from some quarters  until he was forced into compulsory retirement.

Following the ugly development,  Elakamah,  also a lawyer,  quickly went into business. At the outset,  he faced a lot of challenges.  In fact,  he failed at three different times to actualise his dreams.  But he was undaunted.  The  Edo State- born businessman was resolute; and today, he is reaping bountifully.

Spyglass gathered that  his plastic manufacturing company ,Oak Plastics, has been the highest producer of plastic products in the market.
