The Katsina State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dissolved the state and local governments’ stakeholder committees.
In a statement Thursday by the state APC Deputy Chairman, Alhaji Bala Abu-Musawa, the party said the dissolution of the committees was with immediate effect.
The ruling party said it would soon roll out modalities for the reconstitution of the members of the stakeholders’ committees in accordance with its constitution.
While acknowledging the contributions of the dissolved stakeholders for the victory of the party during the 2023 general election, the party urged them to sustain the tempo for the growth and development of the party.
According to the APC, fairness and justice would be its guiding principles in reconstituting the party’s stakeholders’ committees at the state and local government levels.
