UpdateAfrika CEO Bags Doctorate Degree in Business Leadership

The Chief Executive Officer of UpdateAfrika Communications, Joseph Effiong has bagged a Honorary Doctorate Degree in Leadership and Communication Management from the Institute of Leadership Manpower and Management Development (ILMMD). 

Effiong was also awarded ILMMD’s Distinguished Fellow Award. 

  Effiong was honored among other esteemed professionals at ILLMD’s 25th induction and investiture ceremony that held in Lagos, recently. 

ILMMD’s Director of Membership, Dr. Theophilus Cornerstone stated that the honour was conferred   on Effiong given his exceptional demonstration of leadership in business, adding that the recognition was the institute’s way of appreciating his outstanding leadership. 

“His career prowess, educational qualifications, and impressive contributions to the society all together merited him for the honour”, he said. 

Effiong is a media entrepreneur who has displayed rare excellence and leadership skills. His skilfully- led UpdateAfrika is reputed to be Africa’s foremost media solution company of first choice whose clientele spreads across sectors in Africa.
