Gombe Gov Appoints Special Advisers, DG, SSAs

The Gombe State Governor, Mr. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has approved some key appointments to enhance the state’s administration and advance its development objectives.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who conveyed the governor’s approval, said that the new appointments covered a spectrum of crucial roles, including security, social welfare programme, gender mainstreaming, educational opportunities, administrative functions and technology-driven entrepreneurship.
The new appointees are AIG. Zubairu Mu’azu (rtd) for Special Adviser on Security Matters; Aishatu Adamu, Special Adviser/State Coordinator for Social Investment Programme; Ms. Finney David, Special Adviser on Women Affairs/Nigeria for Women Project and Ms. Amina Dahiru Usman Bauchi, Special Adviser on Almajiri and Tsangaya Education.
Other appointees are: ACP. Ibrahim Bappa (rtd) as Director-General and Commandant, GOSTEC; Mr. Ibrahim Saidu Umar, Senior Special Assistant (I) on Protocol Matters and Mr. Yakubu Sarma, Senior Special Assistant (I) on General Duties.
All the appointments are with immediate effect.
